Aadithreya VARMAN

Dr. Aadithreya Varman is a highly accomplished cataract and refractive surgeon, heading the phacoemulsification training program at Uma Eye Clinic. He has performed over 3000 cataract surgeries (including multifocal, toric IOLs, and EDOFs), 300 ICL procedures, and 1500 SMILE procedures (Visumax 500/800). A recognized leader, he’s a frequent presenter at international conferences like ASCRS and AIOS, receiving best paper awards at both. Notably, he received the Best Paper of Session award at the 2024 ASCRS meeting. Dr. Varman has performed multiple live surgeries and is a chief instructor for SMILE courses at ASCRS. He is also among the few surgeons in India performing Presbyond LASIK. He is an executive member of the Young Ophthalmologists Association of India.
