Ashish is a glaucoma and cataract surgeon at Prince of Wales & Sydney Eye Hospitals, and in private practice in Sydney, Australia. He obtained his Glaucoma Fellowship from Oxford and spent time at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Dr Agar is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of New South Wales, with a PhD in laboratory research and over 100 peer reviewed publications in clinical medicine, medical education and public health. His leadership roles include Vice President of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists, Councillor of Australian Medical Association NSW, Chair of RANZCO NSW, and RANZCO Reconciliation Officer. Ashish is proud of his Indian heritage and supports aid projects India, and teaches extensively in South-East Asia.
